Yup, I survived. Photos and some sort of account of the con to follow. Taking today off work was a really good idea, another reasonable night's sleep and I should be almost back to normal. And, it was good ! Hit just about the right mixture of doing the usual convention stuff (panels, events, dealers/art show) and hanging around with people and partying into the night.

Meanwhile, if you need another convention fix in the near(ish) future, there are a few next year to try :
1. Nullus Anxietas III, (the third Australian Discworld Convention), 8th-10th April 2011, Penrith, NSW. It's been confirmed that, unless something major happens, Sir Terry Pratchett will be attending.

2. Swancon 36 (21-25 April 2011, Perth, WA). The 36th Swancon and also the 50th Australian Natcon, should be lots of fun (guests: Ellen Datlow, Justina Robson, Sean Williams, Sarah Xu).

3. Continuum 7 (10-13 June 2011, Melbourne, Vic). Guests: Richard Morgan, Dave Freer.
