I'm looking for a new computer. It's going to run some flavour of Linux (probably Ubuntu or Kubuntu), and it's likely to be left on a lot of the time. It should be quiet, and being compact would be useful, too. Doesn't have to be super-powerful, but beyond the Atom/Celeron/integrated-graphics level.
On one hand, I could shop around on the Net for a while, source suitable components to build a quiet pc, and have fun putting it all together.
On the other hand, the new Mac Mini range just got launched here. And apparently they'll dual-boot quite nicely (triple-boot is harder, it seems, but I'll still have my laptop for Windows stuff).
On the third hand, I have a spare monitor, keyboard, and mouse (only used when working-from-home at the moment).
Hmmm ...
