Woohoo !
(the brief gory details - won 3/lost 2 in the first round of pools, but that was only used for seeding into the second round. Won all 5 in the second round, and had an indicator of +20 - that was just enough to have me seeded 1st into the DE. Won my DE bouts 15-8, 15-14, 15-12, 15-10 and 15-13 ... and that was what it took to get me a shiny medal and shiny trophy ! Whee !)
(I've been fencing since 1994; this is the first open tournament I've won. Am I excited ? :-) )
