(note that I'm more of a "grab a bite to eat then walk around for a while" luncher rather than "sit down to slowly consume" type)
Apparently there are people who commute Edinburgh <-> Glasgow every day for their jobs; I don't know how they can stand it. Although I can now see how some people get so much reading done - I started Air on Monday morning and finished it yesterday evening (although there was some extra bonus reading time thrown in on Monday when some trains were cancelled and the one I was on took 45 minutes longer than usual due to a "broken rail"))
