Whew. Was quite tired this week after getting back from Prague, and I'm quite glad that I only had four days of work to get through. This weekend will involve very little, except the usual weekend stuff (shopping, gym, etc), and maybe going to see the HHGTTG movie.
I've been a bit quiet LJ-wise, too, and I should get around to posting about Prague and random other stuff that I've been meaning to post about for a while (I've been mostly keeping up with reading LJ, but writing has seemed like too much effort most evenings recently ... ).
Meanwhile, on
edinburgers recently I heard about a neat sport/recreation, called "free running" or "le parkour". It looks like good crazy fun, and a couple of the little video/flash clips on this site look quite spectacular (the "cat leap" and the jump-and-roll from about 4 metres up ... ). (ETA : That site is all flash , btw - just in case you're allergic to that sort of thing)
Finally, today did have its little triumphs - I finally found a plain generic mouse mat for under £1 (typical computer shops seem to want £3-6 (!) for a plain mouse mat), and long (45cm) chopsticks. Yay.
