Since I suddenly seem to know a lot of fan-fiction writers, this /usr/bin/w00t comic seems very amusing and appropriate.

(the author almost certainly reads the newsgroup alt.sysadmin.recovery, and has probably read the Bastard Operator From Hell series too)
