'tis the season for ... fencing !

Apparently this is exactly the right time of year to hold a fencing tournament. Over the past week or so, there's been the Australian Under-20 Championships, Australian University Games (which has fencing!), World Veterans Championships in Moscow, World Championships in Antalya, and finally, the Highland Open in Inverness. I haven't been at any of them, though - not young enough, not student enough, not old enough, not good enough, and not near enough, respectively :-)

(unfortunately, no Australian triumphs from the two World-level events - congratulations to Amber on her L64 at Worlds, though !)
