And in other news, this weekend rwrylsin and I are going to Paris. I'm competing in Challenge Monal, an FIE A-grade épée tournament. I'm currently alternating between "Whee!" and "Eeek!" when thinking about it, but I figure even if I fence woefully, we get to go be tourists in Paris in the Springtime. There's a current entry list under "Tireurs engagés" in the "La Compétition" menu of that site - so far, 18 of the world top 20 have entered, and about half of the top 100. Wheeek!
